Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a Unit Deployment Manager for a contract contingent position supporting flying squadron operations. The focus of work is supporting non-flying duties in ANG squadrons that traditionally utilized aircrew to fill the duties.

Stage 2 (S2) Security is looking for an Agile Project Manager & Scrum Master with cyber security knowledge preferred. As an Agile Project Manager and Scrum Master you will work with S2’s engineering teams to facilitate the Agile development process of our Adversary Simulation, Detection, and Response platform (aka MAGE), and identify areas of improvement between S2’s engineering teams. Our MAGE platform enables us to provide continuous Testing & Monitoring of our client’s information systems via our various Managed Security Services (MSS) offerings.
This position allows remote telework within the US. Since 2014, approximately half of the current team at S2 has been executing work via remote telework. We also have small offices in the DC/VA area near Tysons Corner, as well near Salt Lake City (SLC) Utah, in the Silicon Slopes ( https://siliconslopes.com/ ) area.
Responsibilities include:
Facilitate communication and collaboration and identify ways to improve the efficiency of the engineering/development team.
Responsible for managing the development lifecycle from requirements through delivery.
Responsible to identify and remove the impediments for the team.
Monitor and report on team progress, manage tools to track stories and bugs to complete resolution.
Schedule and conduct meeting such as sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, demos, and requirements gathering.
Document decisions and plans as they are made.
Groom backlog and ensure up-to-date status in software management tools (e.g. Jira) and recording of all relevant information.
Working cross functionally, represent the voice of the customer to Engineering, Operations, and Business Development.
Qualifications:
The selected candidate is required to have:
Bachelors degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
3 years of experience as a project manager and scrum master.
PMP or related certification is a plus but is not required.
Knowledge of agile methodologies and frameworks and how to apply them.
Ability to resolve conflict and manage expectations
Knowledge of iterative and incremental development and Agile methodologies.
Strong knowledge of Agile theory, rules and practices.
Knowledge of multiple Agile approaches, like Kanban, SAFE, etc.
Strong knowledge of software development processes and procedures.
Comfortable with Agile artifacts such as User Stories, Continuous Integration, TDD, etc.
Passion for objective metrics and being data driven.
Knowledge of tasks, backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, user stories etc.
General understanding of, and conversant regarding web applications, back-end systems, and other technical concepts
Strong written communication skills.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Works well with the team and clients.
Ability to clear required background check.
Certifications such as but not limited too SAFE, CSPO, AAPO, CPM, PMC, PLC, PEC, etc. is a plus but is not required.
Previous experience bringing a product to market, is a plus but is not required.
