The IT Systems Administrator Role:
You'll be operating at the heart of our newly combined entities – Wirehive and Pax8, working on prem from our amazing offices in Farnborough and also providing proactive, engaging and people centric support to our site in Bristol acting as the internal IT bridgehead between Denver, USA and the UK.

Tech Day to Day in this role includes:
+ Ensuring security through access controls, backups, and firewalls
+ Upgrading systems with new releases and models
+ Developing expertise to train staff on new technologies
+ Building and maintaining internal tools as well as evaluating new tools with documentation, checklists, guides, etc.
+ Installing and configuring software and hardware
+ Troubleshooting issues and outages
+ Managing network devices and technology tools
+ Setting up accounts and workstations

You'll be ideal for us if you:
+ Enjoy helping humans and have an authentic service centric mindset
+ Already tinker in your home-lab where you love to build, learn and study
+ Have a thorough understanding of Azure AD, O365 and Exchange Online Administration Basics
+ Ability to administer Anti-SPAM systems, Anti-Phishing, and Endpoint Protection systems
+ Understanding of ITSM Framework
+ Have ServiceNow and JavaScript experience
+ Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role
+ Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), patch management, Cloud Software, Imaging, Windows 10, Linux, DNS, O365 ,and other tools
+ Can create automation scripts with PowerShell and other scripting tools
+ Are resourceful, with problem-solving aptitude and a can-do attitude
+ You communicate easily with technical & non technical people – online or in-person
+ B.S./B.A. degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent work experience
+ Professional certifications in Microsoft Cloud, Cisco, or other related credentials preferred
