RESPONSIBILITIES

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
Enforces regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
Controls access to client site or facility.
Patrols assigned site on foot or in; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
Protects evidence or scene of the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents.
Prepares logs and reports as required.
Responsibilities may include any and all protection and security services as required by the client and directed by GMCS.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
All Security Officers must be 18 years or older.
Available to work nights (10 pm to 6 am)
High level of confidentiality and ability to handle sensitive situations
Excellent communication skills.
Guest service-oriented.
Work locations vary. Travel required. Travel reimbursements available.
Must comply with all GMCS and CDC COVID19 policies and guidelines.
Physical requirements as follows:
- Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
- Additional physical requirements may include, frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to stand for a minimum of 4 hours.

Job Description:

Omega Protective Services, LLC is seeking friendly, reliable, responsible individuals to join our growing team for armed security positions in the Lehigh Valley Area.

Applicants will be hired for full-time or part-time positions at various locations. Scheduling is flexible and based on your preference and availability. We'll help you find shifts and locations that work best for you.

Applicant's job duties would include:

Monitoring ingress/egress at building entrances.
Controlling the flow of customers and staff.
Greeting and logging guests, patrolling specified areas, etc.
Temporary additional workload such as enforcing mask policies and social distancing may also be required.

Regular availability is a must, but scheduling is flexible and based on your preference.

Applicantsmusthave the following:

Valid Act 235-f certification.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable transportation.
Squeaky clean criminal background.
PA or reciprocal license to carry firearms.

We are a licensed security agency. All employment is on the books with biweekly payroll. Your certs will be verified. We will run your background.

Applicants may be required to stand on a post or sit for long periods of time with minimal opportunity to walk around, and minimal access to bathroom facilities/breaks/etc. Applicants should have good communication and people skills, be calm under pressure and stay alert during shifts.
