Due to expansion, THG is looking to recruit a Loss Prevention Manager to join the Security Risk and Resilience department. You will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to our security and loss prevention teams globally.
Main Responsibilities
Define Security and Loss Prevention processes/procedures and ensure that the procedures and processes are implemented effectively across all sites.
Responsible for the THG TAPA programme ensuring all sites achieve the highest level of accreditation.
To promote and develop Loss Prevention awareness throughout the business.

Continuously identify, asses and measure security risks that may pose a threat to the THG and its operations.
Requirements
To be considered you should have the following skills / experience
Proven track record in implementing loss prevention strategies
Demonstrated analytic and critical thinking skills that drive results.
Experience managing complex, multi-site and multi-country security programs, involving multiple stakeholders.
Experience successfully managing third-party vendors.
Highly motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Strong collaborator with proven ability to build successful cross-functional relationships across all levels of the organization.
Outstanding customer service, communication, and presentation skills.
Possesses excellent planning and organizational skills.

Job Description

Mitie has a great opportunity for a  Security Officer to join the Total Security Management Team

Security Officers must be available to cover various shift patterns as well as being flexible in their approach to working locations and potential changes to working patterns.  

Pay rate:  £8.72  per hour

Contracted hours: 160 hours Minimum per month

Main Duties

  • The security officer will demonstrate their character as determined, trustworthy, attentive and approachable at all times when welcoming clients and customers – ensuring ID badges are created, allocated and collected when appropriate.
  • As the first point of contact for to all customers and clients, the Security Agents must have geographically aware of their local surroundings.
  • Must be able to man the phones, emails, IT systems, CCTV and Alarms, Doors and Car park if need be.
  • The  security officer must spot and stop all suspicious sightings or potential criminal activity and retain full control until the arrival of emergency services.
  • Report to the Security Operations Manager – they must record, report and escalate all sightings and arrests on a regular basis.
Qualifications

Person Specification

  • 5-year checkable work history Vetting is essential before start position. 
  • Door Supervision or Security Guarding License essential
  • The security officer will need to be a team player with an enthusiastic attitude.
  • The security officer should be able to work on own initiative.
  • Corporate Security experience.
  • Ability to travel to various sites.
  • Flexible Approach to work to suit the business needs.
  • Excellent communication skills are required both written and verbal.
  • It is important the Security Officer is calm under pressure.

Job Description

Mitie has a great opportunity for a Security Officer to join the Total Security Management Team; the Security Supervisor will be based with one of our prestigious customers. This is a permanent role reporting into the Operations Manager.

Successful Candidate will be required to undertake SC and CTC clearance.

Main Duties

  • To be responsible for the day to day operation of Security.
  • Conduct duties in accordance with company policies, procedures and assignment instructions
  • To assist in any security / equipment investigations, i.e. thefts, missing items, complaints etc.
  • Provide customer / client liaison as and when required.
  • Ensure that any important messages are conveyed in the Security Handover and that all security personnel read and acknowledge them.
