Acoustic Consultant
This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to step into a new role at a growing company.
We are looking for a qualified acoustic consultant, preferably with at least three years’ experience. The role will primarily be to complete acoustic surveys, tests and reports, and eventually to train new staff as this side of the company starts to grow.
Company
Based in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, we have vast experience in Air Tightness Testing, Sound Insulation Testing and Ventilation Testing, SAP Calculations and EPCs. Because of our expertise in Building Regulations Part E sound testing, we often get asked to complete external acoustic surveys, but as of now have nobody in-house who can complete them.
We are a small but growing company with an emphasis on being customer-focused, friendly and knowledgeable.
Role
Candidate
The company are seeking an experienced acoustic consultant who has the ability to work via their own initiative, whilst maintaining a team orientated attitude. You must be degree qualified in acoustics or a similar discipline, and also be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
We are looking for a minimum of three years’ experience.
The Acoustic Consultant must be familiar with BB93, BS4142, BS8223, BREEAM and Approved Document E, and be able to produce reports to comply with these standards.
You must be able to work on projects without any help from other team members. This is a new role for the company and will be headed by the hired consultant.
We would also lean very favourably towards a candidate who is willing to learn to be a SAP/Energy assessor, to assist our current energy assessor, and also fill any down-time whilst we build up this side of our business.
Candidate must hold a full clean driving licence.
ALL applicants MUST be able to get to and from our offices in Borehamwood and have a good level of Maths and English.
Role: Acoustic Consultant
Salary: £28000-£36000 per annum, depending on experience.
Working Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday

Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced AV Performance Account Director to join Springboard, MediaCom’s new division targeting start-up and high growth businesses. This is a new and exciting part of MediaCom’s growth plan and will involve working on Springboard’s newest win, Revolut, as well as being a key part of new business pitching throughout 2021.
You will also be part of the AV planning team working in one of MediaCom’s business groups with responsibilities across clients such as DLG, Tempur and QVC.
You will be responsible for the delivery of media recommendations across all facets of AV, including TV, Broadcaster VOD, Audio and Cinema. Planning will cover both brand and response, but with a heavy focus on being able to demonstrate an analytical rigour behind your planning to drive tangible business growth.
As part of the AV planning team, you will be a vital part of “System Planning” at the agency, which guides our planning process. You will need to understand this process and make sure that our response to brief follows the framework.
Understanding and developing AV and the latest technologies is fundamental to us delivering brilliant work for our clients and is behind much of our award winning work. You will work closely with planning specialists in other media (e.g. digital, publishing, outdoor) to formulate one ‘connected’ response to our client briefs.
All buying will be done by a different department, with a full handover of campaigns when signed off by the client.
You will work as part of a team of 9 AV planning experts, who plan all elements of AV across a wide range of categories.

Production Team Member Role
To work with the Production Team Leader, Production Team members and Production Team Ferag Operator in providing support for Press, CTP and Ferag stacker within the production departments. Work within departments to ensure an effective operation in achieving business targets.
Within this role you will be required to cover and assist with CTP plate production and handling, on press printing activities, including make ready, paper handling, printing and Housekeeping. Working in Post press with assisting with stacker duties, and incorporating dispatch when required.
