Centerpoint, a program of Justice Resource Institute, is a Joint Commission-accredited 16-bed Intensive Residential Treatment Program for adolescent males between the ages of 13-19 coping with serious mental illness, as well as emotional and behavioral challenges. Licensed by the Department of Mental Health, Centerpoint provides a safe, secure setting to learn, grow, and prepare for successful functioning in the community. We provide comprehensive trauma-based therapeutic care including an on-site special education school, full on-site clinical and nursing services, and a therapeutic milieu.

Job Description:

We are seeking an energetic, motivated full time (40hrs/week) Masters Level licensed or licensed-eligible (LCSW) clinician to work as a member of our interdisciplinary team. The licensed or licensed-eligible clinician would be responsible for: providing individual, group and family therapy, case management, crisis intervention, strength-based treatment planning, and comprehensive assessments.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work/Counseling Psychology required.
  • LCSW or LICSW strongly preferred.
  • Supervision towards licensure available on site.
  • Clinical experience with adolescents required.
  • Familiarity with DBT, CBT, ARC and/or other trauma informed models of treatment preferred.
  • Experience with residential care is a plus!
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary.

The Merrimack Center's Residential Department seeks a Residential Supervisor. We are looking for a Supervisor who can embody and uphold our values on a daily basis. This person must love working with adolescents, be energetic, positive, disciplined, have excellent boundaries and will thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Residential Supervisor we are seeking will take pride in working with a team who strives to make everyday a little bit better for our group of adolescents.

Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 1:30pm-11pm, Friday and Saturday 3pm-11pm.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of shift by demonstrating knowledge of program safety and security procedures.
  • Training and providing supervisions with Residential Counselors.
  • Support all efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of students, staff and the program by providing verbal and physical interventions to provide a safe living environment.
  • Qualified candidate would be well versed in the policies and procedures of the Merrimack Center.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) required, Associates preferred.
  • Supervisor experience in Residential or Mental Health Facility, minimum one year required.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license and able to drive a 7 passenger van.
  • Experience working with special needs population strongly preferred.
  • Residential program or mental health program experience strongly preferred.
  • Meet programs requirements for background checks.
  • Able to work alone in an unsupervised environment.
