Mulberry Ward are looking for a Band 2 Healthcare Assistant who has passion, drive and enthusiasm for the role.
Based in Chippenham Community Hospital, Mulberry Ward is a 20 bedded Nurse and Therapy led inpatient Stroke Rehabilitation service for residents of Wiltshire. The hospital is situated in a thriving market town between Swindon and Bath, with excellent transport links to London. Mulberry Ward operates flexible shift patterns, including some internal rotation on to nights.
Mulberry Ward is at the forefront of delivering holistic care through our multi professional team comprising of Nurses, Rehabilitation Support Workers, Healthcare Assistants, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Medics and Social Workers, you will be encouraged to contribute to the on-going development of this team.

Physiotherapist - Band 5
Community Team for People with Learning Difficulties (CTPLD)
37.5 Hours per Week, 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
We are looking for a Band 5 Physiotherapist to join the Physiotherapy Team for People with Learning Disabilities, full or part-time, week day hours based in Chippenham, Marlborough, Salisbury or Trowbridge. This is a possible secondment opportunity.

We have a full-time, fixed term, Band 5 vacancy; duration is at least 7 months. Our standard full time working week is Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, no on-call.
We would welcome applications from newly qualified physiotherapists as well as people with more experience and we are open to applications for a secondment. Our team members are mostly employed by Wiltshire Health and Care but work closely with social care. The successful applicant can choose which Wiltshire Council hub to be based in from Chippenham, Salisbury or Trowbridge, or can base themselves at Savernake Hospital, Marlborough. During the pandemic many of our service users are shielding and we have been working remotely, often from home.
This is an opportunity to work with people who have learning disabilities, as part of a caring and committed multidisicpinary team that is focused on partnership working and high quality person centred care. In our supportive environment you will gain experience of providing physiotherapy to this client group and assessing for and providing a range of specialist equipment (e.g. walkers and seating). You will benefit from regular supervision, joint working and expert, evidence based ‘in house’ training in the 24-hour approach to postural assessment and management, spasticity, sensory integration and meaningful engagement, epilepsy, positive behavioural management and frailty. You will also be part of our ‘Stay Active – Stay Well’ training and events programme, led by the physiotherapy team.
