An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Retail Store and Warehouse Assistant with the knowledge, skills and experience to join the retail team at our Meadowfield Furniture and Homeware Store. You will assist the Retail Manager/Supervisor with the day to day operations of the store. Work with the staff and volunteer team to effectively achieve the sales budget and control costs. Deliver the Retail Mission and Vision, providing excellent customer service to customers, donors, and supporters and promote the profile of the Hospice.
The successful applicant will be a team player, with retail/customer service experience in the commercial or voluntary sector. Knowledge of the retail sector, customer service skills, ability to work as part of a team and an awareness of health and safety, trading standards and relevant legislation. You will required to possess excellent communication skills, be motivated and passionate about customer service, and have a positive and enthusiastic attitude. You will be expected to be adaptable and to work with flexibility to cover the needs of the service. The role also involves a high degree of physical work.

Rate per Hour: starting from £10.29 per/hr
A motivated, driven and enthusiastic person is required to control materials taken into a Warehouse.
This role requires you to administer and reconcile all incoming raw materials, ingredients and packaging in terms of both deliveries and stocks that arrive on site and ensure they meet specifications.
You will work closely with Supply chain and production to ensure stock accuracy at all times, keeping all records and paperwork up to date. Must have computer skills, reliable and have excellent attendance and punctuality.
Reporting to the Warehouse Controllers/Goods Inwards & Despatch Manager the successful candidate will have outstanding communication and organisational skills. It is essential that you have previous experience, ideally within a food environment and being able to prioritise. In addition to your 'Can Do' attitude. A primary focus will be driving Continuous Improvement through the successful achievement of KPI's.
Previous FLT experience is essential as you will be required to undertake stock movements.
