The Role
As Technical Author you will work 9am to 5pm, 3 days per week and you will be responsible for the maintenance and production of a variety of documents (corporate publications such as strategies, handbooks, rule book and procedures) as well as forms, charts and templates.
The Person
For the role of Technical Author, you will need:

•Previous demonstrable experience as a Technical Author, producing documents for printed and online distribution for a variety of audiences.
•Good interpersonal and interview skills, able to prioritise and schedule your own work.
•Your English to be of superior quality and you should have experience of copy editing, proofreading and validation skills.
•A clear and concise writing style and be capable of writing for a variety of audiences.
•To be completely self-supporting in MS Word, Excel, Visio and Adobe Acrobat.
•Experience of an online help authoring tool, such as Doc-to-Help.

Attention to detail is paramount with a strong focus on consistency and quality of output and adherence to house style.
The Benefits

The Job:

About You

You don’t need to have any previous marketing experience, but a history and passion within the field of commercial science writing, editorial development or publishing, is a must.
